Everything you need to know to get to your first payout

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Overview

The Instant Funding Standard Model offers immediate access to a funded account with specific rules for managing your trading risks and profits.

This is an overview of the most important rules you must follow. You will also find the requirements to apply for a payout.

Trading Rules

Maximum Trailing Loss Limit

The Maximum Trailing Loss Limit is the amount your equity or balance can't go below. This is set to 6% of your initial account size and moves up with your highest recorded equity. It will be locked in at your initial account size once the equity is in 6% profit.

The trailing mechanism is based on equity, which means that the limit will trail and adjust to the highest equity level reached by the account until a 5% profit is reached. Violating this rule is a hard breach and will lead to the closure of your account.

  • Maximum Trailing Loss Limit: 6% (equity based)

    Example:
If your 100K account reaches an equity level of $102,000, your equity or balance can't fall below $95,880 at any point.

    The limit locks at $105,000.

IMPORTANT: The Maximum Trailing Loss Limit does not reset after a reward.

Daily Loss Limit

The Daily Loss Limit is the amount you are allowed to lose in a single day. The higher value between equity and balance is used for this rule. Violating this rule is a hard breach and will lead to the closure of your account.

  • Daily Loss Limit: 3% (of the higher value between your starting equity or balance)

    • Example 1: Higher Equity

With a $105k balance and a $107k equity, your equity cannot fall below $103,790 that day.

    • Example 2: Higher Balance

With a $100k balance and a $99k equity, your equity cannot fall below $97,000 that day.

  • The equity for the day (floating profit/loss plus closed positions) must not hit the Daily Loss limit.

  • The Daily Loss Limit resets at 00:00 (GMT+2).

You can always check the reset timer on your dashboard to know when your daily loss limit resets.

3% Floating Loss Rule

This means your floating profit and loss (PnL) must not exceed -3% of the account size. If your floating PnL drops below -3%, your account will be breached. Violating this rule is a hard breach and will lead to the closure of your account.

  • Maximum Risk Limit: 3% (of the initial account size)

    Example:
If your initial account size is $100,000, your floating profit and loss (PnL) can’t drop below $97,000.

Inactivity

A trading account will be breached if it remains inactive for 30 consecutive days. To keep the account active, you must open and close at least one trade within this period. If no trades are completed during the 30-day window, the account will be breached.

News Trading

You're allowed to trade during news events in both the Challenge and the Funded Account. However, when trading on a Funded Account during high-impact news events, only 40% of the profit from these profitable trades will be counted toward the account balance.

Challenge Accounts are not subject to this rule.

High-Impact news events as indicated by a red folder on ForexFactory.com and myfxbook.com.

Time Window: Trades executed 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after a listed high-impact news event (a total 10-minute window) will be subject to this rule.

Applicable Trade Types: This rule applies to both Market Execution (Opening/Closing) and Pending Orders (including Take Profit and Stop Loss).

Loss Responsibility: Any losses incurred during this period remain the trader’s responsibility and will not be removed.

Partial Order Closure: If a trader closes a portion of an order, the entire order will be affected, and only 40% of the profit from the profitable trade will be counted.

Overnight & Weekend Holding

You are allowed to hold trades overnight and during the weekend. However, swap charges apply.

Payouts

  • You can request payouts daily from the first day.

  • The minimum reward amount is 2.5% of the initial balance, including our split.

  • Earn a 80% split on all profits you make.

  • There is an unwithdrawable buffer of 3% (meaning your first 3% profits are unwithdrawable)

  • Any trader can have a maximum allocation of 5 funded accounts at any given time.

  • Be aware that if you fail your account before the request is processed, your payout will be denied.

Your account must satisfy the criteria below to qualify for EACH payout:

• Biggest trade rule: No single trade should account for more than 15% of your total profits generated since your last payout at the time you submit a new payout request. This rule applies to trades, which means that you can hit the requirement and request a payout on day one.

Trades on the same instrument and in the same direction that occur within 3 minutes of each other are considered part of the same trade idea and will be combined for this rule.
