2-Step Model

Everything you need to know, from evaluation to funded

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Overview

Our 2-Step Model is designed for traders who want to verify their skills. It has an Evaluation Phase and a Verification Phase. After passing both, you gain access to a Simulated Funded Account, where you can start generating profits.

This is an overview of the most important rules you must follow. You will also find the requirements to apply for a payout.

Evaluation Phase

This phase is designed to prove your skills. Reach the profit target while meeting the minimum trading days.

Trading Objectives:

  • Achieve a 10% profit target during the Student Phase.

  • Complete a minimum of 3 trading days to pass the evaluation.

After reaching the objectives, you go to the verification phase.

Verification Phase

This phase is designed to verify your skills. Reach the profit target while meeting the minimum trading days.

Trading Objectives:

  • Achieve a 5% profit target during the Student Phase.

  • Complete a minimum of 3 trading days to pass the evaluation.

Funded Phase

Once you successfully pass the Verification Phase, you will receive your funded account where you can start earning real profits. Follow the payout requirements below to become eligible for a payout.

Trading Rules

Maximum Loss Limit

The Maximum Loss Limit is the total amount your equity or balance cannot go below. Violating this rule is a hard breach and will lead to the closure of your account.

  • Maximum Loss Limit: 10% (of the initial account size)

Example:
For a $50,000 account, your equity or balance cannot drop below $45,000.

Daily Loss Limit

The Daily Loss Limit is the amount you are allowed to lose in a single day. The higher value between equity and balance is used for this rule. Violating this rule is a hard breach and will lead to the closure of your account.

  • Daily Loss Limit: 5% (of the higher value between your starting equity or balance)

    • Example 1: Higher Equity

With a $105k balance and a $107k equity, your equity cannot fall below $101,650 that day.

    • Example 2: Higher Balance

With a $100k balance and a $99k equity, your equity cannot fall below $95,000 that day.

  • The equity for the day (floating profit/loss plus closed positions) must not hit the Daily Loss limit.

  • The Daily Loss Limit resets at 00:00 (GMT+2).

You can always check the reset timer on your dashboard to know when your daily loss limit resets.

3% Loss Rule - Funded Account Only

Your biggest loss per trade should not exceed 3% of the account size. This includes:

  • Single-entry trades

  • Trades split into multiple positions

  • Same idea trades (opening a new position in the same direction within 5 minutes after closing a losing trade is considered part of the same trade idea)

This rule applies exclusively to funded accounts and does not apply to evaluation accounts. Violating this rule is a hard breach and will lead to the closure of your account.

Inactivity

A trading account will be breached if it remains inactive for 30 consecutive days. To keep the account active, you must open and close at least one trade within this period. If no trades are completed during the 30-day window, the account will be breached.

News Trading

You're allowed to trade during news events in both the Challenge and the Funded Account. However, when trading on a Funded Account during high-impact news events, only 40% of the profit from these profitable trades will be counted toward the account balance.

Challenge Accounts are not subject to this rule.

High-Impact news events as indicated by a red folder on ForexFactory.com and myfxbook.com.

Time Window: Trades executed 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after a listed high-impact news event (a total 10-minute window) will be subject to this rule.

Applicable Trade Types: This rule applies to both Market Execution (Opening/Closing) and Pending Orders (including Take Profit and Stop Loss).

Loss Responsibility: Any losses incurred during this period remain the trader’s responsibility and will not be removed.

Partial Order Closure: If a trader closes a portion of an order, the entire order will be affected, and only 40% of the profit from the profitable trade will be counted.

Overnight & Weekend Holding

You are allowed to hold trades overnight and during the weekend. However, swap charges apply.

Payouts

  • You can request payouts daily from your first day in funded.

  • Earn a generous 80% split on all profits you make.

  • The minimum reward amount is 2.5% of the initial balance, including our split.

  • Any trader can have a maximum allocation of 5 funded accounts at any given time.

  • Be aware that if you fail your account before the request is processed, your payout will be denied.

Your account must satisfy the criteria below to qualify for EACH payout:

• Biggest trade rule: No single trade should account for more than 20% of your total profits generated since your last payout at the time you submit a new payout request. This rule applies to trades, which means that you can hit the requirement and request a payout on day one.

Trades on the same instrument and in the same direction that occur within 3 minutes of each other are considered part of the same trade idea and will be combined for this rule.
