Live Account Overview

Updated over a month ago

At FundedSeat, simulated accounts are a stepping stone and a chance to refine strategies and build initial capital. Once traders prove consistent profitability, they're moved to FundedSeat Live accounts to trade in live markets.

Eligibility Requirements

A trader may be moved to a Live account once they have taken 4 payouts in a single account. Our Review team monitors all traders and may reach out to move you to the Live Account before 4 payouts. This decision is made at FundedSeat's discretion, based on your performance.

Live Funded account upgrades are invitation-only and granted at FundedSeat's discretion. Our team will contact eligible traders via email when they meet the criteria.

Transition Process

Once the trader is invited to go Live:

  • All Simulated Funded Accounts are closed

  • Eligible Accounts Move to Live (up to 5 Live Accounts)

    • Any Simulated Funded account that has received at least one payout transitions to Live. If a Sim Funded account has not received a payout, it will not transition to Live.

    • Any trades or progress made after the last successful payout will not be included in the Live Transition.

    • Evaluations can still be traded, but will be placed on hold once passed. As long as the Live accounts are active, the trader cannot trade simulated Live accounts.

  • Up to 3K in profits per Simulated Funded accounts will be frozen.

  • The Live account will begin with a $0 balance and an initial EOD drawdown equivalent to the starting drawdown of the original Simulated Funded account.

  • For example, if the Simulated Funded account was a $50,000 account, the Live account would start at $0 with an EOD drawdown of -$2,000.

  • The EOD drawdown will lock at $0.

In Case of Hitting the Drawdown

  • Any remaining profits on the Live account, along with the trader’s share of the frozen profits from the Simulated Funded accounts, will be eligible for withdrawal.

  • If the Live account ends with a negative balance, that amount will be deducted from the profits held. The remaining balance will be available for withdrawal.
