At FundedSeat, we empower you to develop your unique trading approach within our established guidelines and risk requirements. We also strive to provide a structured and fair evaluation process to identify traders who can demonstrate consistent performance and disciplined risk management.
The following trading practices are not allowed:
Gap trading
Tick Scalping
High-frequency trading
Server spamming
Latency arbitrage
Toxic trading flow; exploiting liquidity shortages
Hedging, including opposite account trading (within the same trading account, between accounts owned by the same traders, and between accounts owned by different traders)
Long-short arbitrage
Reverse arbitrage
Server execution abuse
Device sharing or third-party account management
Exploiting errors or latency in the pricing and/or platform(s) provided by the Broker
All-or-Nothing Trading or Gambling behaviour, where you can lose the account in one trade
Utilizing any third-party strategy, Expert Advisor, or off-the-shelf strategy marketed to pass assessment accounts
Utilizing EA to pass an assessment and then utilizing a different strategy in a simulated funded account
Reverse Trading: including risking the full daily loss on one trade, which often indicates reverse trading between different firms
Violating these rules, whether intentionally or unintentionally, can result in restrictions, reward denial, and account closure. We recommend carefully reviewing and adhering to all trading rules.
Copy Trading
You are allowed to copy trade between your own FundedSeat accounts (accounts registered under the same individual).
EA's and bots
Using a third-party Expert Advisor (EA) is allowed as long as it complies with the prohibited trading rules. Using any other third-party Expert Advisor is not allowed. This will lead to a denial of the evaluation or reward and closure of the account.
Trade Your Own Account
All trading activity at FundedSeat must be conducted solely by the account holder. The following are strictly prohibited:
Team or group trading with other individuals
Trading on someone else’s behalf
Shared devices (e.g., computers or phones used by multiple traders)
Any third-party involvement or strategy handoff—before or after funding—will result in disqualification and account closure.
Therefore, we strongly discourage accessing any trading account through VPN or VPS to ensure accurate data tracking within our internal systems.
The utilization of any services related to account management or "pass your challenge" services is strictly forbidden.
